Join us for one of Cleveland’s longest-running spring traditions! The 22nd Annual Hermes Cleveland 10 Miler & 5K celebrates endurance, our local community, and Cleveland skyline views - with a scenic course, big finish energy, and a post-race party worth running for at Edgewater Beach!

Designed for endurance enthusiasts with the 10 miler distance challenge while welcoming those seeking speed in the 5K Run/Walk, this event is for every kind of runner.

Registration Details

Registration opens November 2025.
The earlier you commit, the better your rate! Tiered pricing rewards those who register early, with limited spots per tier.
Once a tier sells out, prices automatically increase to the next level.

2025 Registration Fees

Cleveland 10 Miler

Tier 1: First 100 registrants — $65
Tier 2: Registrants 101 + — $75

Cleveland 5K

Tier 1: First 100 registrants — $35
Tier 2: Registrants 101+ — $40

Virtual Option (10 Miler or 5K) — $50

Run your distance anywhere, anytime in April!
Your packet (race shirt, novelty bib, and finisher medal) ships the week of April 20.
Virtual participants may submit results online to appear in official online virtual result listings.

Packet mailing: +$15 (deadline April 14)
Race day packet pickup: +$10 (limited to 100 spots)

Paper entry forms can be mailed to Hermes Sports, but must be received by Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

How it works:

Choose either the 10 Miler or 5K when registering.
Run your race anywhere, anytime between April 1–30, 2026.
Your packet (shirt, bib, medal) ships the week of April 14.
Optional: submit your result online through your RunSignUp account.

Friends/family can pick up for you — bring their confirmation email just in case.
Large group pickup (5+): email roadracing@hermescleveland.com with names and pickup location, and Hermes will pre-pack.

Course & Parking

Course:

Scenic, relatively flat route with aid stations every 2 miles.
Water at each stop; Gatorade at miles 4, 6, and 8; CarbBoom gels at mile 6.
Restrooms available at the start/finish and along the course.

Pace Requirement:

Participants must maintain a 16-minute-per-mile pace for the 10 Miler to ensure road support and safety.
There is no pace requirement for the 5K Run/Walk.

Parking is available at both Lower and Upper Edgewater Beach.

Top 3 overall male & female
Top 3 in each age group:
15 & under, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70+

🏅 5K:

Top 3 overall male & female
Top 3 overall masters male & female

Awards presented post-race at Viking Public House.

Transfers, Deferrals & Refunds

We know plans change — and we’ve got options.

Transfers

You can transfer your registration:

To Virtual — switch to the virtual event and run on your own time.
To Another Runner — free option via RunSignUp (no direct bib swaps).

Eligible events: Parrot Head Run 5K (July 19) or Hofbrauhaus 5K/10K (August 4).

Deferrals

Defer to the 2026 Cleveland 10 Miler for $15 (deadline April 17).

Pregnancy & postpartum athletes (within 24 weeks) may request a 2-year deferral.

Refunds

Like most live events, no refunds are issued for any reason.

Can someone pick up my packet?
Yes! Friends or family can pick up with your confirmation email.

Headphones?
Allowed, but please keep the volume low for safety.

Strollers or Dogs?
Strollers are welcome (please start near the back).
Dogs are not permitted on the course.

Bag Check:
Available at Upper Edgewater until 7:50am
Attach the pull tab from your bib to your bag for identification.

Complimentary and searchable after the event!
